In order to love someone you must first love yourself! Because if you can't love yourself no one is going to do it for you.

Open your heart- If you don't open your heart and to allow someone in you can never truely trust someone or be trusted.

Patience- Don't jump on the first person you see and NEVER!! settle for less because you too good for that no matter what living or financial situation or even ethnic culture you belong to, stick to your guns because ultimately your the one falling in love not everyone else for you.

Struggle- Expect to get turned down and don't blame yourself for it. Think of it as there losing out on a great person because you know your wealth and never lower it for anyone!

Fights- Not all relationships are perfect throughout, just know that compromising is something that needs to be done in a relationship because it's not "I" anymore its "We" and you have to think that way.

Trust- You have to be able to trust your partner because if you don't you'll live your life worried and cautious of every move they make and your only bound for failure that way. If you can't trust them then maybe it's time to move on because no healthy relationship succeeds with no trust.


If you can survive that gauntlet of things I just mentioned it is very possible that you can start to love or sustain love for a long period of time. This is my opinion and I am open to all that may want to comment to agree or disagree. Or if i missed something, lol

Something people live by is there Word... " Trust me! I give you my word". But how truthful is that statement and should someone trust that word?

I personally don't put much trust in anyone's word because I've experienced in life that a person word is only good till something or someone changes. Once that change happens then the person word is now nothing and people sometimes feel betrayed or lied to. This is why i never take what anyone says for granted and love life knowing nothing anyone says is for certain! now even from family, friends or spouses.

This may be a bad way to think but i feel like this is the only way people won't get hurt when the news comes and you realize what you once thought was for certain is no longer true.

There are moments in life that may come often but... there are some that only come once and never come again... take advantage of the rare ones.. -KnobleOne

There's that old saying " It's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all". I believe in that saying 100% because when you have loved just a bit, even for a short period of time it's the most wonderful most magical feeling ever! The interesting part is that people when they lose it try to replace it with other feelings but NOTHING! ever compares or can take its place so people strive to be in that position to love again.

The feeling of knowing that another soul in this world cares for you in every which way and no matter what happens they will try to protect you, console you, help you, propel you and enlighten you both mentally and physically is a feeling nothing in this world can EVER match! Think about it... the feeling that you know that someone out there has you in mind all day and cares and wants to be with you for every second of the day if it was up to them is irreplaceable.

Love heals all kinds of pains a person may have and I know though i personally have been hurt in the past will never quit on love and never strive to love and be loved again....

Every decision in life has there benefits and there consequences.. but why do i find that people don't take the time to actually think there decisions out. Why do people that know when there mad say things that they don't mean still continue to speak when they know that there anger has been triggered? Why is it that there are actually people out there that care more about what people think than what they think of themselves? and lives life according to what societies status quo tells them is cool or satisfactory? Or my favorite, when a person supposedly gets " tired " from there partner and think its better to cheat instead of communicating with them.

Why do people do this? Is it because people just don't care? or is it merely people think no one is ever going to find out. I believe people need more guidance and need to communicate more with other because the more you play with fire you will get burned.

I recently posted on my Facebook " If god shed's light to those who believe and strive for success, why are may of us standing in the shade? ".

Why are many people standing in the shade? Why are many people that swear by the lord and claim to be reading the bible daily and attending church on a regular day basis involved in degrading, lustful, disrespectful, envious, jealous and outrageous acts. Why many atheist that claim that they don't believe in god before they die say " God help me!! don't let me die ". Why do people that claimed to be "saved" think because they read the bible and attend church that they can do everything the the book doesn't tell them is right and just repents thinking its ok?

The reason why this happens is because society allows it and even encourages it. Look at the commercials that are out there and the message that many of us adults, yes us adults give to our youth! And when i say message I don't mean verbally i mean with our actions. I can't stand a person that's a raging alcoholic and chronic smoker that tells kids " don't smoke cause its bad for you " while they light up a cigarette and allow there children to drink in there own homes. People if we wanna be your own person and follow your own rules then so be it but don't consider yourself a holy or a devote christian because then your going to be sending the wrong message to the youth that are looking for guidance through you!!!

If your going to be a devote christian then step into the light and soak in the love, light and happiness it brings to be called a christian but...... if you decide to partially be involved and give it 50% of your all then don't call yourself a true christian because you will confuse and the youth and anyone else that may look at you for guidance. Lets try to repair what has been cracked but not broken!
